Cafe D’Athens
Cafe D'Athens is my first display typeface. Inspired by a 1972 Anthony Forster lettering sample, Cafe D'Athens features bold strokes, narrow apertures, and heavily geometric forms. It was designed to be used as large type for posters, reminiscent of big, bold wooden type that catches your attention from afar. Cafe D’Athens takes it’s name from the Foals song, respectively.
